Hello my name is matthew and Im 20, 21 in july and I live with my partner. I come from the foster system and have been in two group homes that made my teens very unstable but it did give me the independence I needed and have blossomed into. I have a very close relationship with my dad, hes my best friend and Ive stopped contact with my mother for 6 years.
Ive been through 5 years of therapy, excluding being the kid pulled aside, ive undergone emdr therapy with helped a ton with my ptsd and anxiety. Ive also been diagnosed with autism and emotional dysregulation disorder, and gender dysphoria and main reason I mention is because I want people to know theres others out there like them and its gonna be okay and also because I spent alot of my time thinking and alone during high school, so when I was finally able to go out on my own I truly felt like myself and its been the best for my quality of life.
Alot of my highschool time ran around me role-playing online with im very passionate about, some people know some people dont and assume weird things but the best way to describe is its a cosplay community but solely online and your own characters (or chosen), you design and create their whole life, you message with other characters within your fandom (or crossover) and role play out a scene. Ie i used to play at daredevil and that was my first character so everyone called me matt, and when I socially transitioned at 14 I chose that to be my name and its fit perfectly for 7 years.
Another character I created was Maither Fairfax a spidersona from the spiderverse and ive attached some early works of him in my drive because hes a big part of me and I love desiging, drawing, writing, makeup, im a very creative person and I struggle to get opportunities so this has been like a shining light.
Another thing I want to add is about my personal instagram, filthy_gore I take it so seriously its like my son, its a way to show how proud of myself I am especially when 3 years ago I never posted myself at all, just characters and now im my own main character and I think thats charming.
I love editing both pictures and music, I love my recent edits they feel spiritual to my brand and myself.
I love going to raves such as black noir, berlin raves and seeing artists like angerfist, lesss, holy priest. My favourite online artist is saraunh0ly on soundclound. Ive built my soundcloud algorithm over 8-10 years and I can never find a name of a song to tell anyone because most of them are titles with symbols but in a way I think its beautifully unique to me.
Anyway I wanted to make another separate part to say I am a fully qualified chef with certificate 3 in commercial cookery, certificate 2 in Baking and certificate 1 in hospitality. My true passion aligns with baking but I love being able to create delicious things and If anyone ever needed the help I would love to.
As mentioned before im a beginner photographer, Im enrolling into a course to introduce me to the digital side of things with editing and finishing a photo and also understanding my camera. Right now I just have a professional camera and a vision. If anyone ever needed my services, even because sometimes a camera is better than no camera and you get to help me build and learn id love to help out.
